Everywhere we look we are sure to encounter mean spirited and argumentative people. It’s the black eye of our world today. People just seem to want to argue and disagree on almost everything. It’s not a pretty look on the children of God. We are to be peacemakers in every situation. We are called to be salt and light to a dark and dying world. We need to understand the difference between passion and just downright meanness. There is a huge difference in the two. Mean people are just flat out rude, insensitive, and just want to be right no matter who they hurt. Christians that are passionate find a way to get the point across with love and keeping the opposing party’s eternity in mind. Let’s try our best with God’s help to keep from breaching the dam of arguments.
