A Word from PJ

“When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭10:19‬ ‭NASB

If you want to see someone that is headed for ruin, just sit back and watch those that are always running their mouth. Those that are always complaining. Those that are always talking down to others. Those that just have to say something no matter if it’s their business or not. Those people are always headed for trouble. It seems to follow them and it’s usually of their own making.

Then there are those who always hold their tongue. Those that always listen twice as much as they talk. Those that consult God before speaking too quickly.  Those people always seem to be wise. They always seem to have God’s blessings all around them.

Let’s be that type of person. One who holds their words until it’s right and Godly.

Love you all,

PJ

This word reminds me of what Abraham Lincoln said that “it’s better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubts”. Our words are like bullets…once they leave your mouth heading down range, you cannot bring them back; I pray that God will help us all to be quick to listen and slow to speak and that our words will be positive, encouraging, loving, and edifying to others! Amen 🙏🏻
