When we become Christ followers we are called to live separate lives from the world. Yes, we live in a sinful and depraved world but we no longer have to partake of it. We are called to turn down temptation that leads to sin. God has placed within us the Holy Spirit, giving us the ability to interpret the Word of God and say no when temptation comes our way. As a child of God, we should avoid any circumstance that could cause us to stumble and be thrown off course. We are to seek our Heavenly Father‘s will for our life in every situation. Seek things that are pure, holy, and acceptable to the Lord.
