Serving Others as Christ Served
Scripture:
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Mark 10:45
Reflection:
Jesus set the ultimate example of servant-heartedness. Mark 10:45 reminds us that He came not to be served but to serve, giving His life for our salvation.
Serving others reflects the heart of Christ and fulfills His command to love one another. It requires humility, compassion, and a willingness to put others’ needs before our own.
When we serve, we not only bless those around us but also grow in our faith and character. Service is an act of worship that glorifies God and demonstrates His love to the world.
Challenge:
Look for an opportunity to serve someone this week, whether through a small act of kindness, volunteering your time, or helping someone in need. Reflect on how this service reflects Christ’s love.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the example of service You set for me. Help me to serve others with humility and love, reflecting Your heart in all I do. Teach me to see opportunities to bless others and to live as a servant for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
