The picture of love that John has for Gaius and the fellow believers that showed them great love, is awesome. John and his fellow preachers were not welcome in the community by the church leader, in fact the church leader threatened to expel anyone that welcomed the traveling preachers into their homes. Knowing what could happen to him, Gaius invited them into his home and showed great care for them. This enabled them to carry out their mission for God.

We should show God’s people love like this in every way possible. Showing people love that no one else wants anything to do with.
