A Word from PJ

““Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.””

If you go to any large city you will see impressive buildings. Buildings that are so tall it makes you wonder how they stand through all the storms. There have been buildings that look strong on the outside but develop major structural problems. Some of those buildings have collapsed because of the foundation not being strong enough. Bad foundations produce bad buildings! It’s no different with building a strong stable family. Jesus told us about building on a foundation of sand vs solid ground. As children of God, we are to build our family upon the strongest foundation possible and that foundation is the Lord Jesus. When the storms of life come, AND THEY WILL, our families will stand if we stand firm in our foundation.
