“Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.”

There seems to be the same misunderstanding today that there was back when Paul wrote this warning. A lot of people today misunderstand the grace of God. Those that do misunderstand think that Christians are free to commit sin without consequence. Our sin through Christ may be forgiven, but God WILL discipline us because He loves us. His conviction comes to those that are born again. If you aren’t convicted of your sin then you need to be converted to Christ. The reality is as Christians, we know better than to live in unconfessed and unrepentant sin.

It’s a dangerous game to play when Believers live a life of sinful indulgence thinking there will be no consequences. God is Love and with that love comes Justice.
