The Call to Persevere
Scripture:
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
Reflection:
Perseverance is essential in the Christian life. Galatians 6:9 encourages us to keep doing good, even when we feel tired or discouraged, because God promises a harvest in His perfect timing.
Sometimes the fruit of our labor is not immediately visible. It can be challenging to continue serving, giving, or praying when results seem distant. But God sees our faithfulness and promises that our efforts are never in vain.
Perseverance is not about striving in our own strength but about trusting God to sustain us. As we rely on Him, He renews our strength and gives us the courage to press on. The harvest will come, and it will be worth the wait.
Challenge:
Think about an area where you feel weary or discouraged. Commit it to God in prayer and ask Him for the strength to persevere. Reflect on His faithfulness and trust Him for the results.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for the promise of a harvest in due time. Help me to persevere in doing good and to trust You with the results. Strengthen my heart and remind me that my efforts are never in vain. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
