The Gift of Eternal Life

Scripture:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

Reflection:

Eternal life is the greatest gift we can ever receive. Romans 6:23 contrasts the wages of sin—death—with the gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ.

This gift is not something we can earn; it is freely given through the sacrifice of Jesus. His death and resurrection paid the price for our sins, granting us forgiveness and the promise of eternal life with Him.

Knowing we have eternal life changes how we live today. It gives us hope, peace, and purpose, reminding us that this life is not all there is. As we embrace this gift, we are called to share it with others, inviting them to experience the same hope and joy.

Challenge:

Reflect on the significance of eternal life and how it impacts your daily decisions. Consider sharing the message of salvation with someone who needs to hear it.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Help me to live with the hope and purpose that comes from knowing You. Teach me to share this gift with others so they may experience Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
