A Word from PJ
The Goodness of God
Scripture:
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” – Psalm 34:8
Reflection:
God’s goodness is a constant in our lives, inviting us to experience His love and faithfulness firsthand. Psalm 34:8 encourages us to “taste and see” His goodness, reminding us that it is not just something to know but something to experience.
When we take refuge in God, we discover the depths of His goodness. He is our provider, protector, and sustainer, meeting our needs and filling our hearts with joy. His goodness is evident in the beauty of creation, the blessings in our lives, and the gift of salvation through Christ.
Experiencing God’s goodness leads to gratitude and trust. As we focus on His character, our faith is strengthened, and our hearts are filled with peace and hope.
Challenge:
Take time this week to reflect on the ways you have experienced God’s goodness. Write them down and thank Him for His faithfulness. Share one of these experiences with someone to encourage their faith.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your goodness that fills my life. Help me to recognize Your hand at work and to trust in Your faithfulness. Teach me to live with gratitude and to share Your goodness with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Love you,
PJ
