A Word from PJ
“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,” “yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”
Habakkuk 3:17-18
May 15, 1992 happens to be the greatest day of my entire life. I have experienced many great days in my life. The birth of my children, the adoption of my children and my marriage to the love of my life. However, May 15, 1992 was the day that I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I surrendered my life to Him and allowed Him to be my savior and become my Lord. With that being said the scripture here in Habakkuk shows me how to rejoice in the Lord no matter the circumstances. There have been many days that have been wonderful like those I just listed and many more. With that being said there have been many days where things were not going as planned. As a matter of fact there have been times that nothing seemed to work out in my life like I wanted it to. But God has always been there. He has always worked things out for my good because He loves me. I didn’t say because I was always perfect, I said “He loves me”. At times through the years I have felt that I was alone but God was always there loving me and helping me rejoice through every situation. So today I celebrate my salvation by knowing God is always with me no matter what the struggle.
Love you all,
PJ

God with us, for us, in us! What more could we want. But still there is our flesh to deal with as long as we are on earth. Thank you Lord for sending Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, comforting us and helping us grow fruit like patient endurance, peace, joy and self control to name a few. May we be determined to mature in Him.
