A Word from PJ

The Hope of Heaven

Scripture:

“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 3:20

Reflection:

As followers of Christ, we are citizens of heaven, and our ultimate hope lies in the promise of eternal life with God. Philippians 3:20 reminds us that our true home is not in this world but with Christ. This eternal perspective gives us hope, strength, and purpose as we navigate the challenges of life.

Heaven is described in Scripture as a place of unimaginable beauty, peace, and joy. It is where God’s presence dwells, and there is no more pain, sorrow, or death (Revelation 21:4). This promise gives us reason to persevere, knowing that our trials are temporary and that a glorious eternity awaits.

Living with the hope of heaven doesn’t mean we ignore the present. Instead, it motivates us to live for God’s glory, share His love with others, and store up treasures in heaven through acts of faith and obedience.

Challenge:

Spend time reflecting on the hope of heaven and how it impacts the way you live today. Share this hope with someone who may be struggling or searching for purpose.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the promise of heaven and the assurance of eternal life with You. Help me to live with this hope in my heart and to share it with others. Teach me to focus on what truly matters and to glorify You in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
