A Word from PJ

The Joy of Salvation

Scripture:

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” – Psalm 51:12

Reflection:

Salvation is the greatest gift we can ever receive. Yet, over time, the joy of this gift can fade as life’s challenges weigh us down. David’s prayer in Psalm 51:12 is a reminder to ask God to restore the joy of our salvation and renew our spirits.

The joy of salvation comes from knowing that we are forgiven, loved, and redeemed by God. It is not dependent on circumstances but on the unchanging truth of His grace. When we focus on this truth, our hearts are filled with gratitude and hope.

Renewing the joy of our salvation requires spending time in God’s presence, reflecting on His love and grace. As we do, our hearts are refreshed, and we are reminded of the incredible privilege it is to belong to Him.

Challenge:

Spend time reflecting on the moment you first experienced the joy of salvation. Write down what it means to you and ask God to renew that joy in your heart today.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of salvation and the joy it brings. Restore to me the joy of knowing You and fill my heart with gratitude for Your grace. Renew my spirit and sustain me with Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
