A Word from PJ

The Love of the Father

Scripture:

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” – 1 John 3:1

Reflection:

God’s love for us is extravagant and unconditional. 1 John 3:1 celebrates the incredible truth that we are His children, not because of anything we’ve done, but because of His grace and love.

The love of the Father is perfect and unchanging. It’s a love that knows no limits and pursues us even when we fall short. Through Jesus, God demonstrated His love by making a way for us to be reconciled to Him. This love defines our identity and gives us purpose.

As children of God, we are invited to rest in His love, trust His plans, and share His love with others. Knowing the depth of His love transforms how we see ourselves and how we live.

Challenge:

Spend time meditating on 1 John 3:1 and reflecting on God’s love for you. Consider how His love shapes your identity and how you can share it with others.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for lavishing Your love on me and calling me Your child. Help me to rest in Your love and to reflect it in my relationships with others. Teach me to live in the confidence and joy of being Your beloved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
