The Power of the Holy Spirit

Scripture:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Reflection:

The Holy Spirit is God’s gift to every believer, equipping us with the power to live out our faith and fulfill His mission. Acts 1:8 reminds us that through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to be witnesses for Christ in every part of our lives.

The Spirit provides guidance, strength, and wisdom, enabling us to overcome challenges and reflect Christ’s character. He convicts us of sin, comforts us in trials, and produces spiritual fruit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23). Through His power, ordinary people can do extraordinary things for God’s glory.

Living by the Spirit requires surrender and sensitivity to His leading. When we rely on His strength instead of our own, we experience the abundant life Jesus promised.

Challenge:

Spend time in prayer today, asking the Holy Spirit to guide and empower you. Reflect on how His presence has transformed your life and how you can rely on Him more fully.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit who empowers and guides me. Help me to live by His power and to be a bold witness for You. Teach me to rely on Your Spirit in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
