The Sovereignty of God

“The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.” —Psalm 103:19

There are times in life when circumstances seem chaotic, and we can feel overwhelmed by the unpredictability of it all. Yet, in the midst of the storm, we find peace in the truth that God is sovereign. His sovereignty means that He reigns over all creation nothing is outside His control or understanding.

When we grasp that God is in charge, it brings a deep sense of security. Even when life doesn’t go as we planned, we can trust that His plans are good. Romans 8:28 reminds us that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him. This doesn’t mean that we will avoid trials, but that God is using everything even the difficult moments to accomplish His perfect will in our lives.

Today, think on God’s sovereignty. Are you holding on too tightly to control? Surrender to Him, knowing that His wisdom and power far surpass our understanding. Trust that He is working in ways you may not see, and rest in His loving reign.

Father, thank You for being in control of all things. Help me to trust in Your perfect plan, even when I don’t understand it. Give me peace in knowing that You are sovereign and Your ways are higher than mine. Amen.

Love you,

PJ
