A Word from PJ

“and said, “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:3‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

I love this verse and what it represents. Jesus is telling us that we are to become humble and trusting with everything that we are. That’s what children do! They trust their moms and dads with their very life. The type of trust a child Gives is one that is unconditional. You just trust that your mom or your dad is going to give you everything you need even if it may be uncomfortable or not what you want. There are lots of times we don’t get what we want from our parents but we get what we need. Trusting Jesus our Savior and Lord, is simply doing that very thing. We must relinquish control of our lives and allow him to be in control of it, trusting that He will do what’s best for you in every situation.

Love you,

PJ

Lord Jesus, please help us let go of our stinking, controlling flesh and strong wills. Forgive us for trying to go it alone so much, and in so doing defying you and your perfect plan. Baptized us again with your Holy Spirit and fire to cleanse us from all impurities, and fill us with that power and authority over all evil, and even over our own flesh. We want to glorify you and love you more. Thank you and amen.
