Trusting God’s Promises

Scripture:

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:20

Reflection:

God’s promises are steadfast and trustworthy, and 2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds us that they are fulfilled in Christ. Every promise God has made is a reflection of His faithfulness, and through Jesus, we have the assurance that He will do what He says.

From the promise of salvation to the assurance of His presence, God’s Word is filled with declarations of His love and provision. Trusting His promises means believing that He will fulfill them, even when circumstances seem to suggest otherwise.

As we stand on God’s promises, we are reminded of His character faithful, unchanging, and good. His promises are a firm foundation that gives us hope, strength, and peace.

Challenge:

Reflect on one promise of God that has been meaningful in your life. Spend time in prayer, thanking Him for His faithfulness and asking for the strength to trust Him more.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your promises that are always true. Help me to trust in Your faithfulness and to stand on the truth of Your Word. Teach me to live with confidence and hope, knowing that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love you,

PJ
