“If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.”

We live in a world that is incredibly dark. It seems like everyone is running from the truth. It’s like we don’t want to know what is right or we don’t even care. That’s a scary and dangerous place to be. If we are God’s children then we WILL have a overwhelming desire to know what is right and strive for it. If you belong to Him you can’t run for long without being convicted of your sin. As God’s children, we will be convicted if we allow darkness to overcome us.

If you are not convicted of the sin you are in then you should be VERY scared. The only reason you won’t feel conviction, is that you aren’t a child of God. Consider again what God’s Word says in Hebrews‬ ‭12:8,‬ “If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.”.
