Update on Lee

They have backed off the vent to 40% this morning with 22 respiration rate. PEEP (pressure) is at 6 ... non vent naturally we get 5 so that's almost what it needs to be. Heart rate looks great. Blood pressure is good. They are going to wean off sedation and some more of the ventilator throughout the day as he tolerates it. Pray he tolerates this and is calm and doesn't panic. All other blood work looks good. New chest x-ray should be ordered today to compare the progress on the pneumonia. Overall a successful day yesterday and last night just going to be a slow process today.
