A Word from PJ

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Colossians‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Wait, What? You’ve got to be kidding me, right? “Forgive as the Lord forgave you” is a command that seems nearly impossible to do. Especially when someone has really hurt you or someone you love. I mean after all who doesn’t really enjoy getting back at someone who deserves it? God’s Word doesn’t tell us to forgive when it’s convenient, when it’s easy or even when you want to. It says “Forgive” period. This will not always be easy to do but it’s always right.

My prayer is you experience the amazing freedom found in forgiveness. It’s absolutely a beautiful thing.

Love you all,

PJ

Forgiveness is the key to all of it. I don't deserve to be forgiven but I am. Thank you Jesus!

Amen. I was forgiven much, therefore I must forgive much. We must forgive, even if people don’t ask us to forgive them. That is what Jesus did, and he will give us the grace and mercy that we need through the power of the Holy Spirit if we ask for it.
