“And Jesus went on with his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that I am?””

Mark 8:27 ESV

Who do you say Jesus is? Is He your get out of Hell free card? Is He your way to get out of trouble? Is He your bellboy to get whatever you want? We see people use Jesus for all kinds of things and they seemingly think they can use Him how they want, when they want. This is truly a tragedy. Jesus is so much more than all the things we use Him for. He is the lover of our souls. He is a friend to the friendless. He is a Father to the fatherless. He is our Savior. He is Mighty God. He is Prince of Peace. He is LORD of all. He is much more than we will ever know here on this earth. We should be confessing Jesus as Savior and Lord of our lives to this dark and depraved world. Let’s lift Him high.
