A Word from PJ

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Will it ever be over? Will I ever get better? When will I get a breakthrough? Will I ever get the job I want? These questions and a million more are asked everyday to God. First, let me say it’s ok to ask God questions. He wants us to seek Him in everything. That includes all the good and bad things in life. He wants to let us in on everything He is doing in our lives. Secondly, there are times we have to WAIT on the Lord. When we wait on God’s timing things work together for the good. When we force our preferred timeline or outcome we mess everything up. Waiting on the Lord can be nerve wracking, but when you let Him work things together they turn out beautifully.

Wait on Him,

PJ

Finally learned that waiting is better than going through the mess I’ll make of it!

Waiting on the Lord is a good test of learning to trust His sovereignty, ie, it’s not about me, it’s all about him and his will for us. I didn’t say it’s always fun.
