If you’re a person that is struggling with depression, you may never really get the answers you want. I can assure you that you’re not alone. You have a God who loves you even when you feel like you have let everyone down. You may feel like everyone would be better off without you. You may feel like you aren’t loved at all even when you are told a million times that you are. You may feel like no one understands your darkness. I want you to know that you have been created by a God who loves you. No matter how bad your mind tells you life is, I know God is at work in your life pointing you to restoration of mind, body, and spirit for you.

Sometimes, when we have been through something difficult, the enemy tries to keep us down and he can often use a form of self rejection that we are not even aware of. We may have forgiven others, and believe that God has forgiven us, but can’t seem to release ourselves by forgiving ourselves. When he has set us free, we have to give mercy and grace to ourselves even if we don’t think we deserve it.
