You Are Never Too Far Gone for God to Reach You

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)

Have you ever felt like you’ve drifted so far from God that He couldn’t possibly want you back? Many people struggle with feelings of guilt or shame, believing that they’ve gone beyond God’s reach. But in His Word, God reassures us that nothing can separate us from His love not our past, our mistakes, nor the things we might regret deeply.

When you feel distant or even lost, remember that God’s love and grace are powerful and persistent. He does not see your failures as obstacles; rather, He sees you as His beloved child, worth pursuing and redeeming. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God is not waiting for you to clean yourself up before coming to Him. Instead, He reaches out to meet you right where you are, offering grace and hope.

God’s arms are always open, and His love is constant. Like the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep, God searches tirelessly for us, ready to bring us back into His fold. Don’t let feelings of unworthiness keep you from His love. Instead, turn to Him, knowing that nothing absolutely nothing can keep Him from loving you completely.

Lord, I thank You that Your love is boundless and unwavering. Even when I feel unworthy or far away, You remind me that Your grace is greater than my failures. Help me to trust in Your promise that nothing can separate me from Your love. Draw me closer to You and help me to rest in the assurance of Your everlasting mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
