A Word from PJ
“My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?”
â€â€James‬ â€2:1-4‬ â€NIV‬‬
You, but Not You! Whether we want to admit it or not we have all played the favoritism game before. Some people will even choose the church they go to by which one can give them the best business contacts. Some people choose who they do or do not speak to based off the color of their skin, the type of clothes they wear, how they smell, even their appearance. As children of God we are required to treat others the same. No matter what they can give us or what they cannot give us. It’s time we treat all people with the respect, honor, and dignity that they deserve because they are precious children of God.
Love you all,
PJ

no favoritism should happen in church, it alienates some
Could not agree with you more! We are all designed by the same creator, and made in his image
